Newest Medical Marijuana Dispensary in NJ Permitted to Open and Serve Patients
June 18, 2018, Secaucus, NJ – Harmony Dispensary announced today that it has been granted a permit to open its medical marijuana dispensary. The New Jersey Medical Marijuana Program, administered by the Department of Health, has now permitted the sixth dispensary to provide NJ patients with medicinal marijuana.
Harmony Dispensary will open at 600 Meadowlands Parkway, Suite 15 in Secaucus, NJ,
7 days a week from 10am-9pm, starting Monday, June 18.
With patient access at the top of the list for the recent NJMMP program expansion, the Harmony location will be a significant enhancement for patients. Harmony Dispensary is located just 1 mile from the Secaucus Junction train station. Public bus stop #21530 and #21524 are directly in front of the dispensary, with buses 124 to/from New York, 78 to/from Newark, and 329 to/from Secaucus Junction. I-95 and Route 3 access are both about a mile away. Ample parking, with handicap spaces, is adjacent to the dispensary.
With the majority of the population in NJ in the northern part of the State, Harmony provides patients with an easy alternative to travelling to other parts of the state. Patients who are also commuters into New York City will certainly find this location extremely convenient.
Harmony offers whole flower in ⅛ and ¼ oz packages, as well as a Convenience Line of pre-ground flower - never shake - in loose and pre-rolled form. Many patients are expected to benefit from the ease of having their flower prepared for them ready to use. Harmony is releasing 8 strains initially, with additional strains expected in coming months. Extractions will follow as part of upcoming expansion. Harmony offers discounts to veterans, seniors and children who are patients.
The Harmony team is led by Shaya Brodchandel, CEO. “It is high time that we begin to provide patients with our much-needed products, and our system of continuous planting and harvesting has already provided an inventory that should help alleviate any bottlenecks or pent-up demand in the State at this time. We are now seeking to expand our production in anticipation of patient need continuing to increase.”
Prior to opening, a group of leading advocates were invited to tour the Harmony grow facility. Every aspect of the Harmony operation is managed to track and analyze for purity, consistency and effectiveness. An advocate who is also a patient prepared to exit the production area exclaiming, “This is where I want my medicine to come from!” Harmony has brought the same ethos of its state-of-the-art automated cultivation processes through to its dispensary implementation to deliver a clean, efficient ambiance and dispensing process.
